Download the OLAS App on the App store or get it on Google Play. Search ‘OLAS’
Each tag is supplied with a universal silicone wrist strap with stainless steel buckle and a pre-installed CR2477 Battery (user replaceable).
The compass gives a simple clear visual aid to steer to the direction where the alert occurred. An arrow points to the logged coordinates and tells you the compass bearing and distance to return to the incident co-ordinates.
Each Tag can be named individually and allocated to a person or object such as a dan buoy.
OLAS records the time and co-ordinates when the alert goes off. It then uses these co-ordinates to help direct the crew back to where the incident first occurred. If the crew are required to call for help OLAS also advises on the correct VHF procedure and clearly illustrates the co-ordinates.
